You are invited to a 4-week workshop teaching the process of silkscreening, from a basic sketch to digital touch up and screen set up, concluding with printing on fabric and paper. These sessions introduce the historical background of the technique and its use as a medium to spread revolutionary ideas and expressions. These sessions will also explore thematically the urgent issue of food sovereignty, and participants will be encouraged to tackle it both conceptually and visually.
The workshop takes place every Saturday 3PM-5PM, from October 16 to November 6 for four weeks. Beginners welcome! An $80 fee is required and it will secure a spot in the class and the supplies needed. We hope to see you soon.
