All around the world, the offensive of corporate power forces states to whittle away at labor and social rights. Just as workers lose their rights to pensions and health care, education and disability rights, states are forced to privatize public services and slowly end welfare provisions. Precarity is increasing, and the idea of universal rights has been almost completely destroyed.

As we are in the midst of a global pandemic, intensified crisis, and growing rebellion, people’s movements and organizations around the world are faced with the question of building a coordinated global response. What are the changing conditions that we are currently confronting? What does it mean to build working class internationalism today? Why do we need to stand in unity against imperialism?
