Shahrin Azim is a community organizer and henna artist. She has always been connected with her community via culture and arts. She grew up learning Bangla through natoks and being in company with Bengali aunties. Henna was another way she connected with her roots. Shahrin knows the working class struggle of many South Asians and Indo-Caribeans and hopes to use art as a mode of organizing to fight for justice and win real benefits for everyone.
