You’ll get hands-on experience with the full letterpress printing process using our vintage cast iron platen letterpresses. Topics covered include a short history of letterpress printing, hand-setting type, adjusting the press, and printing your work.

Important Notes:

• The tabletop platen presses we will use are made to print small paper items like postcards, business cards, greeting cards, etc.
• All paper and printing supplies will be provided.
• If you wish to print on paper other than what is provided, please bring it with you.
• Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on.
