The People’s Forum is your alternative cinema for 2022! Join us every Thursday evening to watch a film on national liberation, revolutionary history, and working class struggle! For our film on Feb. 10th from 6:00 to 8:00pm EST, we will be screening Talking About Trees, directed by Suhaib Gasmelbari! Talking About Trees is a documentary on four old friends who attempt to revive the culture of cinema in the Sudanese city of Omdurman, facing a number of different challenges.

Due to capacity limitations, we are asking that folks put in a $6 deposit per seat to reserve a spot. The screenings are free but we encourage you to contribute $6 as a donation to help us continue our programming.

Proof of vaccination and one form of photo identification will be required at the front desk and all attendees must keep their masks on unless briefly eating or drinking.
