September 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us every Thursday at the Paul and Eslanda Robeson Cinema at The People’s Forum, created in the spirit of their love of art, film and revolutionary culture.

Pedro (Ariel Mateluna), who comes from a working class family, gets a free ride to an elite Catholic boarding school run by the forward-thinking Father McEnroe (Ernesto Malbran). Gonzalo (Matías Quer), one of the wealthy boys at the school, quickly takes a shine to Pedro, and the two become fast friends. But as the boys spend more time with one another, their relationship is strained by the turbulent social and political upheaval happening in their native Chile.

Please be on time since this film is around 2 hours long and we will begin exactly at 6:30pm.

Chile | 2004 | Andrés Wood | 121min

This is a free educational program, however, in order to maintain a safe capacity level, we ask that you get a $6 solidarity ticket to reserve your participation and to sustain our educational programming.
