Our indispensable right to water is under attack. From industrial pollution, agricultural runoff and extractive industries to climate change induced floods or drought to the privatization of local water systems and other austerity measures, water is becoming less accessible to millions of people in the U.S. and around the world. These attacks come first and worst to poor and marginalized communities, where lessons learned are applied to broader segments of our society.

On November 8, 7-9 pm, the Kairos Center is hosing a public event on our right to water. Join us as we hear from frontline community members and experts from Michigan, South Carolina, New Jersey and Washington D.C.
