The College Monologue Project is an evening of original monologues jointly created by Queens College and Purchase College students through interviews and personal testimonies. The monologues address critical issues on campus and off campus, including covid 19, sexuality, student loan debt, campus sexual assault, economic justice, activism, freedom of speech and expression. The play has been jointly written as part of Purchase College’s Documentary Theatre and Queens College’s Media and Performance classes. Students have conducted interviews, collected testimonies, edited, and constructed the piece collaboratively.
