As we begin the reopening of our space, every Friday evening in June we will show a film in our screening room at 50% capacity.
This is a free, educational program, however, in order to maintain a safe capacity level, we ask that you leave a $6 deposit to reserve your participation. You will be refunded your deposit upon arrival or if you cancel. Please have your confirmation email ready when you arrive.
Freedom Summer Films is a series that aims to explore the humanity and the creativity of the many struggles against imperialism, colonialism, capitalism at home and abroad, and we hope to leave inspired for a future of liberation through community and love. We know that cultural expression is one of the most powerful forms of political education, and we hope you join us for these collective viewings!

About “FRANTZ FANON: BLACK SKIN, WHITE MASK”
Frantz Fanon: Black Skin, White Mask explores for the first time on film the pre-eminent theorist of the anti-colonial movements of this century. Fanon’s two major works, Black Skin, White Masks and The Wretched of the Earth, were pioneering studies of the psychological impact of racism on both colonized and colonizer.
