This is a 6 session course for organizers and people who stand with the Palestinian struggle to deepen their comprehension of Zionism with the aim of expanding strengthening their engagement in the movement for Palestinian liberation.
Our volunteer meeting & art build will start with a political orientation from key organizations in the Shut It Down 4 Palestine Coalition, including the Palestinian Youth Movement, the People’s Forum, and the ANSWER Coalition. We will discuss important developments in the movement for Palestine and the actions planned for the week. From there, we will divide up into groups to plan local neighborhood outreach, put the week’s goals into action, and make art and materials for upcoming actions. Before leaving, we will ask volunteers to take #ShutItDown4Palestine materials, like stickers, flyers, and posters to distribute in their neighborhoods and workplaces
