June 30, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Picture the Homeless Oral History Project (PTHOHP) invites you to join us in celebrating resistance relationships on June 30th 2023. Resistance relationships rooted in struggle grow our movements. We need to both nourish them and be nourished by them.

Documenting and preserving 20 years of radical homeless resistance and a collective vision of just futures, the event will include a mini-exhibit of photos and short audio clips from the oral history interviews. We will have a short program and share an update on the interviews and where the project will be archived. And we will share some examples of the pop ed materials we’re creating. Beyond documenting and preserving, we hope to share organizing lessons learned to keep building radical resistance and visionary organizing.

The event will also honor PTH co-founder Anthony Williams who passed away unexpectedly in May, and we will offer birthday wishes to two long-time PTH folks, Jean and Lynn.
Please feel free to bring a (non-alcoholic) beverage to share, or something to eat.
