Jaslin Kaur is a Policy & Advocacy Organizer with Know Your IX where she protects Title IX rights for survivors of sexual assault. Her work has spanned NYC and Washington D.C. where she worked with non-profits and youth organizations to advocate against family separation, detention and deportation, and barriers to comprehensive healthcare for immigrant women and children. Jaslin is a recent graduate with a B.A. in Women & Gender Studies and Human Rights from CUNY Hunter College and an Associate’s degree from Nassau Community College. Her work has been featured at the UN Commission on the Status of Women, HuffPost, WBAI Pacifica Radio, make/Shift magazine, Glimpse Magazine, and ITV Gold Television. Jaslin enjoys yoga, karate, and learning new recipes.
