Will Be Heard gathers voices of all ages, races, genders and magnifies their stories, poetry, dance, art and music to inquire together about our historical and social reality. It is a way to theatre creation that replies to the times we’re living in. It is a political and artistic call to action. Will Be Heard becomes A COMMUNITY gathering in which the political body, meaning the active citizens, formed out of many individuals, takes the stage and transforms IT INTO a gathering where concerns and possibilities are voiced.
In this sense it digs into something probably very old, the roots of democracy – a meeting where people listen to each other, and share and outlooks on the world.
