Follow the guerrilla women fighters of the Dhofar Liberation Front as they rose up against the British-backed sultanate of Oman. These rural women not only freed one third of the land, but also built infrastructure, democracy, and culture, from schools to hospitals to roads. This film is extraordinary not just because of its fearless proximity to the violence, but also for its feminist approach.
