Join us for an in-person Tatreez Circle & Workshop rooted in resistance, remembrance, and collective action. As part of the global Feed Gaza NOW stitch-along, we’ll be stitching Palestinian embroidery motifs that symbolize an empty plate of food and spoon using traditional designs of water and seeds — a direct protest against the imposed starvation currently unfolding in Gaza.
Facilitated by Lina of Lina’s Thobe and host of The Tatreez Grove, this workshop is inspired by a global stitch-along co-created by members of the Grove — using Palestinian embroidery as a collective act of resistance, mutual aid, and cultural survival.
All levels welcome — no embroidery experience necessary. Participants will leave with a finished or in-progress piece, resources to continue the work at home, and an invitation to join the global campaign.
