During the past 18 month long assault on Gaza, Israel has engaged in acts of ecocide, destroying 83% of all plant life, along with approximately 70% of Gaza’s agricultural land (Forensic Architecture) In the past few months has also seen the largest forced displacement in the West Bank since 1967, with destruction of water and sanitation infrastructure and forcing many farmers from their lands (Oxfam).
In the face of this destruction, the Feeding the Land Benefit seeks to raise funds to support farmers in Palestine through the important work of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature’s “Revive Gaza’s Farmland” and “Four Million Trees” projects.
