Building Working Class Internationalism today: Intro to the International People’s Assembly and the Week of Anti-Imperialist Struggle
As we are in the midst of a global pandemic, people’s movements and organizations around the world are faced with the question of building a coordinated global response. What does it mean to build working class internationalism in our current situation? Hear from leaders from organizations that form the North American Chapter of the International People’s Assembly, an international process committed to build internationalism of the working class, and that join the call for an International Week of Anti-Imperialist Action. In this installment, we will hear from speakers including Vijay Prashad, director of the Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, and Claudia de la Cruz of The People’s Forum, and the Popular Education Project.
