Pride month attracts sponsorship dollars from some of the biggest corporations in the world, but what gets lost in the festivities? How do we celebrate the progress of the LGBTQIA+ movement when so many of us are still not free, when our immigrant siblings are denied human rights, and the notion of freedom seems so far out of their reach?

Join the Queer Detainee Empowerment Project for a two parts event.

Day one-panel conversation will focus on ways that we can come together as one global LGBTQIA+ community working towards liberation. Our panel of activists, organizers, lawyers and QDEP Members will share stories and strategies to create a future where Pride focuses on revolution, and not mere inclusion.

Day two will focus on fundraising, gala, and award. We want to recognize and celebrate some amazing LGBTQ+ Immigrants that have been working tirelessly for the inclusion and liberation of all of us but are often not recognized for their contributions.

If you can’t attend this wonderful event, please consider donating to our Pride campaign https://www.givegab.com/campaigns/this-pride-month-and-everyday-support-lgbtq-immig?mc_cid=e113f09725&mc_eid=3ce31e9cc3

No portion of the ticket price is tax deductible.

QDEP is fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)3 organization: “Center for Transformative Action”
