In this class, we will build your vocabulary in American Sign Language (get ready to be able to sign entire conversations!) and explore Deaf American culture and history
The focus of this course is to prepare students for non-verbal interaction and communication with members of the deaf community. You’ll learn useful vocabulary and you’ll be able to hold meaningful conversations about various topics. But it’s not all serious – you’ll also learn how to tell jokes, use common expressions and sayings, and relay anecdotes to your audience.
Português Intermediário 1 is an intermediate class with a focus on deepening listening, speaking and developing communication skills in Portuguese in a conversational style, without translating into one’s native language, to allow you to deepen the understanding of advanced verbs tenses,
