RELIEF PRINT-MAKING OPEN STUDIO w/ DANIEL DRENNAN ELAWAR

Open studio is a drop-in space for print-makers who have previously taken the Revolutionary Print-Making course, or who have experience with the medium. Print-makers are welcome to bring their work at any stage of development and receive feedback on where they are in their process as well as assistance in completing a print run.

A printing station will be set up for test prints and print runs. Some tools, ink, and linoleum will be available; print-makers will be expected to bring their own paper or fabric for printing.

4 sessions  •  Saturdays, 10:30AM – 1:30PM  •  January 24, February 7 + 21, March 7  •  Cost per Session: $15

Daniel Drennan ElAwar is an illustrator, printmaker, fiber artist, and educator. His work, based in a documentary genre, focuses primarily on issues of displacement, dispossession, and disinheritance. His research and practice concerning decolonization and resistance led to the founding in 2009 of a Beirut-based artists’ collective, ‎جمع اليد (Jamaa Al-Yad). He currently manages the studio and workshops for Frontline Arts in Branchburg, NJ.
