This summer, as the world still battles an ongoing global pandemic, the Israeli government intensified violence against the Palestinian people and renewed efforts to annex 30% of the West Bank. This annexation plan comes with full support from its main imperialist ally, the United States. In fact, this annexation plan is completely in line with the proposals released by the Trump administration in the so called “Deal of the Century,” a “peace plan” that is effectively a proposal to legalize the occupation of Palestine. What does this annexation proposal mean for the fight for a free Palestine? And how should we understand this in the context of over 70 years of land theft, violence, occupation, and apartheid? What are the regional and global consequences of the Zionist project, and what can those against imperialism all around the world do to resist?

Join journalist and author Ali Abunimah to discuss these questions and more.  RSVP below for the Zoom link!

Ali Abunimah is co-founder of The Electronic Intifada and author of The Battle for Justice in Palestine and of One Country: A Bold-Proposal to End the Israeli-Palestinian Impasse.
