Lao Diaspora for Revolution invites you to join us for a teach-in about our collective struggle for liberation from Laos to Palestine. We will analyze a brief history of Laos and Palestine, U.S. imperialism, U.S. propaganda, and how the military industrial complex acts as the driving force for destabilization and terror in both countries.
We will also be debuting The Lao Silk Keffiyeh Project to raise funds for Gaza and exploited Lao textile workers. Finally, we will preview our upcoming Zine created in collaboration with artists based in Lao PDR.
We will be accepting a suggested donation through QR code of $5 – 10 upon entry, however nobody will be turned away at the door. There will also be stickers, postcards, and posters for sale, as well as raffle tickets for the Lao silk keffiyeh. All donations go towards supporting the Lao artists who made the work and Palestinian mutual aid funds.
