The time is NOW! Get involved in ICE out of NY at The People’s Assembly on Saturday, January 31st!
The Trump Administration is unleashing ICE terror in cities across the country and our best defense is to be mobilized and organized. The People’s Assembly/Asamblea Popular is an invitation to build collective strength with activists, organizers, and community members through political education and collective discussion.
What’s on the agenda:
• Political analysis of the moment and our fight back plan
• Trainings for volunteers
• Panels on how schools, religious institutions, labor unions, and other institutions are organizing in defense of immigrant communities
• Discussions between artists, teachers & students, healthcare workers and legal & social service providers who work with and support immigrant communities and more!
We’ll build shared strategies to protect families, defend communities from escalating ICE raids and repression, and expand our collective power across the city!
If you’re looking to be part of a growing movement rooted in dignity, solidarity, and people power, this assembly is for you. Childcare, food, and Spanish interpretation will be provided so anyone can participate.
