Build your own 8×8 in mini quilt from start to finish in this beginner-friendly hands-on session.

In this session, we’ll go through the basics of quilting step by step:

1. Designing your front panel by cutting and piecing fabric together

2. Measuring and cutting the backing and batting

3. Sewing it all together with simple hand sewing techniques

Materials will include pre-cut squares sized for your mini quilt, plus a pile of extra fabric to cut up and piece into your own design. Participants are encouraged to bring any fabric from home—sentimental or scrap—that they might want to incorporate into their quilt as well!

Instruction comes in small steps, with lots of time in between to work on your quilt, ask questions, and chat. No experience needed.
