Join Start:Empowerment, BIPOC Earth, and The People’s Forum this Earth Day for a dual in-person and Zoom teach-in and discussion led by young organizers made especially for organizers working at the cross-section of justice & environmental issues.
We are gathering young environmental justice, cultural, and labor organizers together to learn from one another on successful tactical and technical stratagems and frameworks they actively use in organizing aimed at deconstructing our current oppressive systems.
Our aim is for participants to not only participate in a lively discussion with this generation’s young organizers but also walk away from this event having built upon their current knowledge base, in order to expedite their organizing in a way that further speaks to people’s struggles in the larger fight for justice in their areas of expertise.
