November 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

REGISTRATION HERE

This Friday, November 21, at 6:30 PM ET, we’re bringing together two of the most dynamic leaders in the labor movement for a powerful, one-night conversation on the future of working-class struggle in the U.S.

❗️❗️Join us for a live discussion with Sara Nelson, International President of the Association of Flight Attendants, and Jimmy Williams Jr., General President of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). Together, they represent nearly 200,000 workers across the U.S. and Canada. Featuring an exclusive live performance from Atlanta-based rapper, linguist, and labor organizer Linqua Franqa, it will be a rare opportunity to hear directly from leaders on the front lines.

Together, we will discuss the lessons from recent labor struggles, the wide demands for a general strike and how organized labor is responding in this moment, and what it will take to revitalize the labor movement into a fighting force against Trump’s war on the working class. On Friday, we’ll dig into these urgent questions and explore where the labor movement goes from here, and how we can contribute to building this revitalized, bold, and fighting struggle. You do not want to miss this!

If you’re based in NYC, join us in person at The People’s Forum, 320 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018. If you’re joining virtually, you’ll receive a livestream link soon.

Looking forward to seeing you this Friday!

In the meantime, check out their interviews with Labor On the LineSara discusses the role flight attendants played in raising the prospect of a general strike during the 2019 government shutdown. Jimmy delves into the working class’s urgent role in defending immigrant communities, and the failure of the Democratic Party in putting forward any real resistance to the Trump administration’s billionaire agenda.
