Written and illustrated by Malak, this unique and sensitive picture book reflects her childhood in occupied Palestine. It tells the story of a young girl whose love for her family and passion for art help her overcome the fear and trauma of the 2014 Gaza airstrikes— traumas experienced by many children in Gaza and beyond.
