Level 3 will continue to develop and strengthen students’ storytelling and conversational skills! Participants will continue to become more comfortable in utilizing their visual space and expressing their own thoughts and ideas through American Sign Language. This course will also feature more in depth explorations of Deaf culture and how this current administration is affecting Deaf lives across the world.
Join us for a Cyanotype workshop with NY-based artist Praise Fuller! Students will thoroughly learn the cyanotype process over the course of five weeks. Each class covers a lesson relevant to the process, including how to edit photos for negatives, best practices for printing on various surfaces, and troubleshooting tips.
Join us for Collage Making For Liberation, a one-day course w/ Queens-based therapist and artist Ashley Lagrange. In these sessions you'll learn how to create collage art as a medium for political agitation and propaganda and as a tool for self-reflection and expression.

The open studio is a drop-in space for printmakers to bring their work at whatever stage and get feedback on where they are in their process. A printing station will also be set up and printmakers can do test prints as well as print runs. Some tools, ink, and linoleum will be available; printmakers will be expected to bring their own paper or fabric for printing.da
This course delves into the history and lessons of the labor movement, and examines why the power of the organized working class has always been central to every progressive transformation in the United States. Together, we will explore how we can take these lessons and build a bold, fighting labor movement today - one that not only defends our rights but goes on the offensive to win a world organized to meet the needs of the many, not just the few.

Português Intermediário 1 is an intermediate class with a focus on deepening listening, speaking and developing communication skills in Portuguese in a conversational style, without translating into one’s native language, to allow you to deepen the understanding of advanced verbs tenses,
This course will give you a solid base and allow you to start communicating with Portuguese native speakers. The program will introduce grammar structures in practical ways, and some writing exercises.
