In this course, we will explore the basics of figure drawing from life, focusing on gesture, line, light and shade, measurement, and proportion. A prerequisite of basic drawing skills is highly recommended.

Nick Skoug is a figurative painter. Originally from the Los Angeles area, he studied painting there before moving to Germany, where he lived for 10 years. He left Berlin for a Master’s Degree in Painting at the New York Studio School.
