Street medics, those who provide critical first aid and medical care to communities protesting oppression, play an essential role in protecting and caring for those in resistance. In this virtual training, we will learn about the history of street medicine and gain basic skills to effectively and safely prepare for protests, anticipate and recognize care needs, and apply critical first aid during and after demonstrations.  

This training is led by organizers with the Justice Center in El Barrio, a dynamic space in East Harlem for social justice and community organizing committed to building the people’s movements.
