To Set at Liberty the Oppressed: Movement Theologies and Bible Studies
A Fall Study Series With the Kairos Center
Tuesdays, October 8 & 22, November 5 & 12, December 3, 10 & 17

This seven-part series will take up historical and conceptual analysis of the theologies that guided and were discovered through social struggle in US history. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the material conditions that led to social struggle and the battle for biblical and theological ideas that emerged as part of those struggles. The series will also include sessions that focus on deeper Biblical textual study following the method of “reading the Bible with the poor.”
