This two-session course offers a hands-on introduction to screen-printing as both an artistic medium and revolutionary tool. Participants will gain exposure to every stage of the silkscreen process–from screen build to two-color printing.

First session

• Reclaiming a screen
• Designing a transparency, digital + hand-drawn techniques
• Coating a screen
• One and two-color printing (studio design)

Second session

• Group design work
• Exposing a screen
• Prepping a screen for printing
• One-color printing (group design!)
