📩 Join NYC organizers for a report back on the current conditions and our experiences within Cuba!
🇨🇺🌴 In June, a delegation of over 100 youth organizers from across the globe traveled to Cuba with the International Peoples’ Assembly to learn about the Cuban experience in its revolutionary context. We met with labor unions, medical centers, universities, LGBTQ+ organizers, and more! We saw the many ways Cuba organizes society for human dignity.
🤝🗝️ We’ll share about the internationalism we saw in Cuba and the context of U.S. militarism, ranging from the blockade to Cuba’s false designation as a state sponsor of terror. Around the world, Cuba is a beacon of hope for national liberation and socialism!
Join us for a night of solidarity, culture, and unity. Get excited for food, drinks, and a silent auction! We will be fundraising for the Bread for Our Neighbors campaign, which aims to send 800 tons of wheat to Cuba to break the U.S. blockade which starves the Cuban people.
🗓️Friday, July 19th, 6:30pm
