This documentary by Gilles Perret is about the creation of the French social security system in the aftermath of WWII. This redistributive model has been slowly dismantled for decades but the latest attack – because it is affecting everyone’s pensions – is being met by major resistance from the french population. Proceeds from the screening will go to French Unions to support the workers on strike.
