CONJUNCTURAL ANALYSIS FOR ORGANIZED STRUGGLE
*Read until the end for the application form*
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, October 15.
Conjunctural analysis (or the analysis of the current context) is a powerful method for studying, analyzing, and ultimately transforming our present moment. The practice of conjunctural analysis is rooted in an understanding of economic, social, and political factors that have created the conditions in which we struggle, and it is used by political and social organizations across the world to strengthen strategies and tactics in the fight for a better world.
This 5-week course will introduce participants with the skills to conduct their own conjunctural analysis of our current moment. We will develop skills in collective research, explore the development of this method by Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci, study the examples from contemporary revolutionary organizations, and develop our own conjunctural analysis in groups.
We know that only with a clear understanding of our past and present, will we be ready to build the future we are fighting for!
