Brooklyn-based duo Alida Torres @alidablue & Aidan Scrimgeour @ascrimge connected over a shared love for and curiosity about folk music from South America and the Nueva Canción movement. In their reimagining of the repertoire, they aim to capture the spirit of the music — the fierceness of living, care for humanity and commitment to freedom — while incorporating elements of their voices and those of their Brooklyn musical community. In this moment, these songs continue to remind us of the possibilities of love, light and resilience and should be played every night.

.tatio @tatatati is a Brooklyn based vocalist on a mission to blend and break down genre barriers, making beautiful music accessible for everyone. She performs regularly with various classical, sacred, jazz and contemporary ensembles, and she began performing solo vocal sets in late 2019, looping her voice to create rich textures and unique sonic landscapes inspired by all genres.

GEMS blends his appreciation for the soul, jazz, and hip-hop histories of the Midwest with a curiosity for the percussive heavy elements of afro house, amapiano, and broken beat. Check out more of his work on SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/gems_only) and instagram (@_wait_theres_moore)
