December 1, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In commemoration of World’s AIDS Day, we want to look at the pandemic of AIDS and its impact on poor communities. It is a fact that HIV/AIDS like illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, and others are disproportionately impacting marginalized and poor communities. Leading organizations doing health-related work with communities impacted by HIV/AIDS and other health conditions will present and engage in a larger conversation on the struggle to access quality healthcare within a business-driven healthcare system. Organized by Dominican Women’s Development Center, KnowNow, Housing Works, Latino Commission on AIDS.
