Overview
The People’s Forum Summer Internship program gives students and young people the opportunity to work with and learn from the popular education and community space model developed by The People’s Forum. Interns will participate in our Revolutionary Summer School, learn from the day-to-day operations of the space, and contribute to the various programming and projects in development at The People’s Forum.
Logistics

- Dates: The internship will run for 7 weeks, from July 1-August 19
- Hours: Interns will be expected to be present 20-25 hours per week at The People’s Forum, with specific hours fluctuating depending on programming & activities
- Compensation: The internship at The People’s Forum is voluntary and unpaid, but TPF does provide a monthly metro card for interns’ use during the period of the internship. Students who receive stipend funding from their schools and universities encouraged to apply!
Opportunities & Responsibilities
- Interns will fully participate in our Revolutionary Summer School–attending each session in-person, contributing to discussion, and assisting with logistical tasks during the program
- Interns will take on a group research or program-based project over the course of the internship
- Interns will learn from the day-to-day operations of The People’s Forum and participate in the everyday working of the space
