Is economic migration a choice? What is a national border in not only physical, but also economic, political, and social terms? How do people see their future as workers in a foreign country? How are they politically and legally marginalized or excluded? Join us for an interactive educational session discussing personal migration stories and clearing up political confusions. Let’s connect the dots and analyze individual worries and troubles in the context of the larger systemic and social issues.

Organizer: DiEM25 New York is the local group of the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25), a left-wing cross-border movement questioning the conditions under which European Union is currently operating. DiEM25 New York acts as a hub with Europe and tries to bring progressive movements and individuals together and fight for social justice.
