This is a multicultural dance class that draws from the movement practices and ideologies of black and brown communities around the world. Participants are encouraged to be curious, expressive and open while discovering new movement possibilities through these techniques and movement studies. Together, we’ll study and embody the social and political significance of dance. Every week, we’ll build strength and skill, explore our creative impulses and learn new choreography.

This class is open to beginners and experienced dancers alike. This is a pay-what-you-can.
