Nidiria Ruiz Medina , a community organizer, educator and women’s peace activist from the Naya River in Cauca, Colombia, will talk about Afro-Colombian women resisting U.S. Militarization and the War on Drugs. Nidiria is 27 years old and was selected by the CONPAZ network to represent their national peace-building efforts on this Northeast Speaker’s Tour.
