Celebrating the past present and future of working women

Celebrate International Working Women’s Day with us on March 11th for festivities, a dance workshop by Angel Kaba, dance party with DJ Ankia, and live band performance by Danaya Band.

RSVP below – $10 entry!

For the past century, women across the world have been coming together to rally around the key issues facing working class women on March 8, International Working Women’s Day. IWWD has roots deeper than organizations like the United Nations and large NGOs would like us to believe. It is a day based in struggle, resistance, unity and internationalism.

Today, the unity of working class women and the urgency for revolutionary organization remain tasks of great importance. We are more interconnected than ever before, and thus our struggles against the neoliberal capitalist system must be even more united.

In a time of increasing hostility against our movements of international solidarity around the world, celebrate and dance with us! We have much to celebrate and be joyful for when it comes to the women who continue to lead our working class movements, from the Indian farmers’ movement to the invisibilized care work during COVID-19.

Vaccination and ID is required for entry.
