RSVP BELOW! IN-PERSON WORKSHOP!

Join us on Nov 6 for a beginner workshop on henna design to learn about the history of henna as an ancient form of body art and the various cultural significance of its origin in South Asia, Middle East, and Africa! Taught by community organizer Shahrin Azim @radicalhennaartist, we’ll learn the history and origins of the practice and try simple techniques.

Cost for the workshop is $20, with henna tubes and materials provided. Half the proceeds go to community organization, DRUM NYC. DRUM was founded in 2000 to build the power of South Asian and Indo-Caribbean low wage immigrant workers, youth, and families in New York City to win economic and educational justice, and civil and immigrant rights.

This is a general workshop, no experience is needed!

RSVPs capped, sign up ASAP! You’ll be emailed confirmation on Nov 2.

Vaccination cards and proof of ID required.
