Derek R. Ford is assistant professor of education studies at DePauw University, where he teaches and researches about how educational theory can contribute to revolutionary struggles. He’s written six books, including Communist Study: Education for the Commons and Politics and Politics and Pedagogy in the “Post-Truth” Era: Insurgent Philosophy and Praxis. Ford is the associate editor of Postdigital Science and Education and deputy editor of the Journal for Critical Education Policy Studies, as well as the education department chair at the Hampton Institute.
